This interior renovation breathes new life into a mid-century residential building from 1953 in Mexico City. Preserving the essence of its original design, the design embraces a minimal material palette, featuring raw cement walls, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city, and warm pine wood accents. Custom furniture enhances functionality, while an outdoor space filled with tropical plants creates a seamless connection between architecture and nature. The result is a balanced interplay of materiality, light, and openness, honoring the building’s history while adapting it for contemporary living.
